I bought a sewing machine last weekend with my mom’s help. This is after days of thinking of getting one and after years (yes, years!) of pining for a nifty sewing machine.
But the thing is, I actually didn’t know how to use one. The last time I tried threading a machine was in a Home Economics class in sixth grade. So naturally, I forgot all about that and I had to start all over again. After a day of wasting thread and just generally failing at using a sewing machine, I figured it all out. And what do you know, I actually made something. Hee :D
Tada! A purse/bag organizer:

See, my wallet is nicely tucked in the far right corner, and my comb and ethyl alcohol are on the far left. There are six pockets all in all, if we’re going to count the little pen pocket.
I used a thick brown fabric with a cute sheep pattern, haha. It was expensive, but I couldn’t find a cheaper fabric that was as thick as denim. I think it turned out well. I admit it’s not the best organizer (I should have made it longer/bigger), but it’s my first time. So yay for me making something!!
Here are more pictures:

This is what it looks like if you fold it.

This is what it looks like inside of my bag. No more clutter! Heehee.
If you’re wondering where I got the idea, I got it from here. It has complete instructions and pictures so it’s easy. Cutoutandkeep.net is now my new favorite site. :D
