… I won’t watch Twilight. I will save money, time and effort in understanding the movie’s plot, which according to some, is just… bad.
I guess that’s it, people. The best review online that I’ve read so far, not counting the ones on Rotten Tomatoes, is this, which lists down reasons why the movie was better than the book. I mean, come on, that’s positive already. That just means the book is so bad. But why are there fans? Ahhh, perhaps the whole “it’s so bad it’s good” applies to that.
The ones that cracked me up the most in the list are number 6,
6. At the movie, you get to hear teenage girls shrieking, “I love you, Edward!!!” before the opening credits even begin.
number 22,
22. In general, we’re just so relieved that the movie did away with most of the 1,000 scenes in which basically this exact thing happens:
Bella: Don’t go!
Edward: I should go, but I can’t.
Bella: I am happy!
Edward: You’re an idiot for being happy.
Bella: You are still totally gorgeous OMG OMG.
and number 28,
28. “And so the lion fell in love with the lamb,” Bella says. In the book, you just roll your eyes. In the movie theater, everyone cheers wildly.
To anyone who will watch, enjoy the movie! I guess it’s better if you’re a fan and not just a random uninitiated person looking for a good movie to watch.

I’m with you. I’ve been resisting every urge from other people to get into the bandwagon. I don’t know, I just don’t want to spend time, money and effort reading something I know is not that worth it.
P.S. I don’t like Robert Pattinson either. I think he looked waaay better as Cedric Diggory. Hehehe.
waaahhh.. i don’t get the whole frenzy either. I mean what is so exciting about Interview with the Vampire meets someone who reminds me of Miley Cyrus and one third of the Jonas Brothers?
Maybe it’s just me. Maybe I got tired of the crossbreeding plot. Maybe I am so over the Lestat kind of dudes.
I only wonder why I always think of Darwin when vampires are involved. Where did they evolve from?
roan – yeah, i liked him better as cedric. i don’t like him brooding. some girls swooned in the cinema when they saw him as edward but i don’t think i can stand it. and the dialogue? i might barf.
beauxy – hahaha i heard it has fans because it’s like fanfiction. here’s a “sparkly” male vampire (and he really is sparkly accdg. to the books LOL) falling in love with a clueless female mortal; he’s tempted to eat her, she’s tempted to sleep with him and let him eat her (XD). that sounds so much like buffy + angel.
geh~
and i was one of those fan girls who screameddward’s name at the very first scene of the movie… and i swear, i’m not even an edward crazed fan girl. i still think rob looks butt-ugly. but i just really can’t help not screaming and giggling on all those memorable and romantic scenes in the film! kyah!!! i really can’t help it!
and i’m so pathetic, i even requested a day of on the very first day it was released in the big screen! hahahaha!!!! yesh, i did!
so dili jud diay ko dapat mubasa/mutan-aw. hahaha kkkkk.
“he’s tempted to eat her, she’s tempted to sleep with him and let him eat her ”
a lot of eating… it should be rated R. heheh… kinky, kinky
Didn’t Robert Patterson get bitten by some fangirls?
